We live in a world where the enemy is trying to make seclusion, isolation, and loneliness the norm of every day life. This is not ok. It is time we stand up, join together, and intentionally fight for each other. We were not created to live alone through life. It is vital to our mental, physical, and emotional health to let people in. There are times we just need to sit with each other, listen, and be present and supportive. There are other times we may benefit from seeking input, ideas and intuitive life experience testimony from each other. Transparency is sharing the hard things we’ve gone through and the lessons we’ve learned in them. Vulnerability is the raw, real things we are enduring currently with no life lessons in the present moment. During these times we may simply need each other to hold our feelings together – a space to merely let the emotions out. There is vast healing and strength that takes place when we bring things to light and share what we are experiencing with each other. There is a huge benefit we can give to each other when we are able to encourage each other’s souls and are able to encourage each other to fix our eyes on Jesus through the storms of life. We thrive when we are known, seen, and feel safe and loved in confidentiality with each other. We need to intentionally keep on keeping on together. The enemy wants isolation, seclusion, and loneliness for our lives because he knows the power of us together. It’s time to fight back together. * A place we can feel loved unconditionally, accepted for who we are, and safe with each other.
* A place we can grow deeper in God together and share those special nuggets God gives us throughout the week.
* A place we can be honest, transparent, vulnerable, supportive, and encouraging through all the joys and struggles life on Earth brings.
* A place we can be a trustworthy, confidential community – united together – fighting isolation, seclusion, and loneliness.
* A place we can share our real life daily experiences and rejoice and fight for each other through each and every one of them.
* A place we are welcome and can be present, committed, and consistently there for each other in a radical way.
“Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of His return is drawing near.”
(Hebrews 10:23-25)
“Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. If you think you are too important to help someone, you are only fooling yourself. You are not that important.”
(Galatians 6:2-3)
“For I long to visit you so I can bring you some spiritual gift that will help you grow strong in the Lord. When we get together, I want to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours.”
(Romans 1:11-12)
“Jesus replied, ‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.'”
(Matthew 22:37-39)
